what is the dress code?

we would love to see our family and friends get dressed up to dance the night away with us! we are requesting a “dressy” cocktail dress code. think somewhere between cocktail and formal. black tie optional. 

we suggest that men wear a suit (tie optional), and ladies wear a midi or long formal dress, pantsuit, or dressy jumpsuit or separates.   

maleny can be chilly during the winter months. we encourage guests to bring a coat.

when should i rsvp by?

please rsvp your attendance including any dietary requirements by 15 june 2023. alternatively, contact hollie on 0488 396 290 or jonathan ON  0422 181 798 to rsvp.

can i bring a date?

If your invitation says "and Guest", then yes, please feel free to bring your date.  If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

CAN I TAKE PICTURES AND/OR POST PHOTOS OF YOUR WEDDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

let our photographer do her thang! we will be having an unplugged ceremony at our wedding so you can be fully present with us and we request that guests kindly turn off all devices during the ceremony.  please be mindful to not share any photos of the bride and groom until we have had the opportunity to do so. however, We encourage photos of the reception and yourselves before and after the ceremony.

are children invited?

we love your little ones - we really do! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception as an adult-only event with the exception of immediate family, as specified on the wedding invitation. We encourage guests to use this evening as a chance to let their hair down! We appreciate your understanding.

when should i arrive?

the ceremony will commence at 2:00pm in the chapel. the venue will open from 1:30pm, we encourage guests to arrive and be ready prior to 2:00pm.

can i drive and park at the venue?

Parking will be available at the venue.  Please visit our getting there page for details on how to get to the venue.

can i leave my vehicle overnight?

If you’ve found that you’ve overindulged and do not feel comfortable driving at the end of the evening - do not fear! Guest may leave their vehicles overnight in the parking lot and can come back to get it the next morning before 11:00am.

what if i have dietary requirements?

When you RSVP, please provide details of any special dietary requirements including food allergies/intolerances or diet preferences (e.g. vegetarian, vegan etc) so that our caterers can accommodate your needs.

when does the reception finish?

last call is at 10:00pm.
